401Gives is a statewide giving initiative powered by United Way of Rhode Island that brings people together to support the nonprofit organizations doing important work throughout our state.
And what an impact it has made! In 2026, 401Gives raised more than $5 million for 705 Rhode Island nonprofits, with more than 20,000 donors taking part. Since its launch in 2020, 401Gives has helped strengthen Rhode Island’s culture of giving while giving local nonprofits greater visibility, resources, and connections to their communities.
