FEBRUARY/MARCH SERVICE ACTIVITIES
In the spirit of community care, beginning on Valentine's Day and running through the month of March, we have teamed up with the Middletown Senior Citizens Center to support seniors facing food shortages by purchasing and donating supermarket gift cards for those in need.
WELCOME TO OUR NEW MIDDLETOWN ROTARIANS
In March, we welcomed New Member Kate Upham into the Club. Kate gave a new member talk at her induction on March 13th. If you have not already done so, please introduce yourself to Kate and welcome her to the club. Sean Napolitano has also been accepted into the Middletown Rotary Club. We look forward to his induction and welcoming him to the club soon.
UPCOMING APRIL EVENTS
Tuesday, April 9th We will be participating in the Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce Expo on April 9th from 4-6:30 at the Wyndham Newport Atlantic Resort. All Rotarians are encouraged to support this effort.
Wednesday, April 17th - It's Spaghetti Dinner time! Mark your calendars for Wednesday, April 17th, because we'll be cooking up a storm at the Senior Center. Stay Tuned for details or contact Cindy Morse.
Monday, April 22nd - Earth Day - Our sponsored Middletown/Newport Rotary Interact Club for youth aged 12-18, the Interact Club is planning to hold a beach clean-up on Earth Day which is Monday, April 22nd. Stay Tuned for Details. We plan to support their efforts as a club.

FEBRUARY/MARCH SPEAKERS
On February 14th, Kim Usselman the new director of the Middletown Library spoke to our club in a presentation entitled, "Unlocking Worlds at Your Fingertips: A Journey Through our Vibrant Library Oasis!"
The Middletown Rotary recently hosted a breakfast conversation featuring Senator Jack Reed at the Wyndham hotel on March 25th.
Our own member Bob Aldrich gave us a March 27th update on the Water for Cambodia project whose mission is to improve health and save lives in rural Cambodia through clean water, sanitation and hygiene.
