Cheryl Hatch is Newport Bureau Reporter at The Public's Radio/89.3 FM. Cheryl has worked as a photographer and reporter for newspapers, wire services and European press agencies. She is a multi-lingual storyteller and educator with years of global experience. As an international journalist, she covered the cost of conflict in the Middle East and Africa.

 

Presentation: As a bureau reporter, Cheryl finds and shares the stories of people on Aquidneck Island and Newport County, with a particular focus on the issues that impact their lives. She will share a few of her stories, including coverage of affordable housing and coastal threats due to climate change.
